KL2 - SXS Steering Joint B Bolt Recall

Dear Honda SXS700/1000 Owner,

Honda is conducting a SAFETY RECALL on 2017-2019 and CERTAIN 2020 Pioneer 700 (SXS700) and 2016-2019 and CERTAIN 2020 Pioneer 1000 (SXS1000) vehicles equipped with Electric Power Steering to inspect for a possible defect. Our records indicate that you own one of these vehicles.

What is the problem?
It is possible some of the vehicles listed above may have a defect in the steering joint that could cause loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

What will Honda do?
An authorized Honda SXS dealer will inspect the steering joint assembly, and repair your vehicle (if needed), free of charge.
